Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit klarwave.com, and on what legal basis.

Visiting the site

When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server, including IP address, time of the request, the address requested and the browser identifier. We process this data to deliver the page and to prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the service securely under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

To send the newsletter we process your email address and, as proof of consent, your IP address, browser identifier and the time of sign-up. Sign-up uses double opt-in: we only start sending after you confirm via the link we email you. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every issue, after which your data is deleted.

Email service provider

We use Resend to deliver confirmation and newsletter emails. The provider processes the recipient address and technical delivery data on our behalf on servers within the European Union, governed by a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

No analytics or advertising

We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising services, and we embed no third-party services for those purposes. No cookies are set for analytics or advertising. The non-public editorial area uses one technically necessary session cookie for login.

Retention

Server logs are deleted once they are no longer needed for operation and security. Newsletter data is kept until you withdraw your consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future by writing to mail@tiamat-labs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein.
